I've not noticed any difference - but I don't seem to get my automatic notification of new posts very quickly - they often arrive in my inbox several hours after they were sent.

It's the usual same speed for me when posting. After submitting my post it take a few seconds, not tried counting but probably around 7 secs to be directed to the post.

I rarely get P.M's or notifications (no one loves me) so I can't comment on this one.

It is very, very slow. However, it was happening before the signatures.

Dizzy, I have sent you a P.M. I didn't like the thought of you getting depressed because no one loved you
PS.
sorry for the signature, I wasn't sure how to do it so I asked Kirsty age 11
to do it   and she got a little carried away on the size.

Tried that, thanks though Nik. However, I think it's the site rather than the computer.

Thanks for the replies tried at home on dial up and in work (sshh) during lunch on broadband I assume, and both seemed to drag but it has gone back to normal.

While I am on! I have transfered the Runnage bridge image from paper to the stamp. I realised that the printer ink of the Lexmark are water based as they smudge when wet, so I printed the design off wet it with a wet tissue and pressed the stamp on the wet image imediatelyand got the following. you may want to very lightly sand paper the surface before doing this

The rubber is bright pink by the way. looks good to me

I like it Number 70, I will scan the one I am working on late tonight (shush, still at work till 9pm) and then let you see the one I'm just about to start cutting.

Why don't you add to my stamp making tutorial and create a step by step version of yours as well, as a new thread. People will get more ideas from differing techniques.
