Well, that was a success...
Even with the rain the gods were smiling, and the 4 hour walk out to Cater's Beam and back on Saturday; and the three hours around Pew Tor on Sunday both coincided with a break in the weather. Grey and windy but pretty much dry. Incredible!
And Dill was an instant hit with the folks in the Plume. Behaviour was nearly impeccable. Well, he is only just over a year old.
Not a huge amount of letterboxes to be found, but then we weren't really trying. Obviously we found a few on Pew Tor, but they were in general poorly maintained.
And we introduced a new letterboxing recuit... Debs, all the way from Aus to visit her father in Princetown for the first time since she was three. He told her to push off, which spoilt her day somewhat, so we gave her some company and took her out on Sunday with us. She loved it and was a letterboxing superstar! She found 6 in under half an hour.
All in all, a damn fine weekend.
Cheers.
