abbreviations

out on a charity walk yesterday around great mis tor, did well, despite the weather, just one abbreviation was puzzling us and that was "jv", can anyone help?

No problem - jv means 'just vis' or just visible' I know somewhere on this forum there is a comprehensive list of abbreviations which might help you on your travels.
