Whilst speaking to a fellow boxer yesterday evening, we were shocked to hear of the death of Roger Paul of the Woodstocks.

Both he and Stephanie were long established boxers and after Tony Moore passing were engaged in organizing the bi annual Dartmoor Meets.

We are very surprised that there has been no mention of this on this Forum.

May he rest in peace.

It is a sad day when a fellow boxer passes the bar, yet another friend has gone. RIP Roger, my condolences go out to your friends and family.

Hello

It is with immense sadness that I have to tell you that Roger Paul passed away peacefully in hospital on Wednesday 11/2/15 after a long illness.

The funeral will be held at Throwleigh Church at 12.30 on Wednesday the 25th followed by refreshments at The Dolphin in Bovey Tracey from 2.00pm onwards

Stephanie has said that all contact details will stay as they are and has no imminent plans to change any of them. Therefore continue to ring Stephanie to book tables etc.at the meet, and her email address remains [email protected]

Stephanie asks that this is not discussed on social media sites as the notifications are constantly arriving which is distressing as I am sure you can appreciate.

The funeral was very well attended with people sitting in the aisles of the church. Also at the Dolphin it was packed out.
